Students trained from March 2011 to February 2012:
Follow-up with our graduates showed that 53% were economically active. While this was encouraging in the context of South Africa’s economic climate, our goal was to have a minimum of 60% of our graduates economically active or placed into internships. Steps were immediately implemented to achieve our goal next financial year.

GetOn has worked hard at developing partnerships with potential employers. The school made student outings, like visits to retailers as Mr Price and Pick n Pay, part of the curriculum. These field trips offered the students the opportunity to get on the job experience and to make the decision if they were made out for the specific environment. Graduate follow-up has also been made an important task of our trainers. The trainers are responsible for conducting follow-up calls every three, six and twelve months to ensure we track the students' successes.

Only 4% of our students did not complete the course.
